The Ring Goes South pt 17

It is a feeling of pure excitement when it snows in the Shire!  Well, I would quite happily send all the snow that has landed on my head today off to Hobbiton for the other halflings to enjoy.  It is so very very heavy as I try to pass Caradhras!

The force of the blizzard is making it very difficult to both find my way and keep my footing.  Certainly the last thing I want to do is fall off the edge.  Even the soft snow wouldn’t prevent me breaking a bone, or at the very least bruising a big hobbit toe!

I can most certainly understand why the company had to head back.  Looking at this avalanche ahead I do not think that anything could pass.  Well, maybe if they had a pet Balrog with them.  The fiery breath may just do it.  Actually the breath of Kinmur the dwarf may melt it a bit.  But alas I left him back in the Lone Lands some months back.

Anyway, I am doing my best to rest here, but will head back where I came from tomorrow.  Yes, Caradhras has defeated me too!

About The Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society

The Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society is a small kin located on the Gilrain server of Lord of the Rings Online. It was formed by guardian dwarf Pashrin Skullcrusher, in dedication to both the deceased petty dwarf Mim, and those dwarves of Thorin's company that narrowly avoided becoming a troll's supper. Although a small kin, it's members are busy questing and crafting, whether helping out the company of the one ring, or brewing up a state of the art cup of tea. And you don't have to be a dwarf to join in their adventures.......
