Pashadan the Lindon elf here again. My adopted father (Hesgarlaf Bard) and myself spent our Sunday exploring the deepest depths of Goblin Town on the off-chance of finding a final polished button and a handful of elvish relics. In the end it proved to be a very worthwhile experience, enabling me to prove to the elves of Rivendell that I am deserved of a kindred status. In reward I was able to master the skills to call a very friendly sparrow to accompany me on those occasional pleasant walks through the terrain of middle earth when not questing. I have called him Pashjack. Pashjack Sparrow!
The polished button was found. And I think we trod every available part of the maze of caves that could be trodden. Most of which many times! Ah, I must praise Hesgarlaf for his superb sense of direction, as I myself got lost too many times that I care to remember.
Sights along the way were of significant interest. Particularly a well painted representation of the very sneaky Gollum creature. I would have never credited the goblins which such artistic talent!
Our successes were complete when we toppled the Great Goblin and all his legions from his throne room. In doing so, I retrieved from him some instructions on the ability to mentor the bagpipes, which I am sure will be of great interest to Pashkoi the minstrel. Again, these goblin creatures display a talent I would not have previously realised – musical competence to go with the painting!!! Much to my disappointment however, the great goblin did not hold any instructions for calling pets. You can never have too many animals following you, and I would lovingly care for more to join my trail of turtles, hares and sparrows!
Until we quest again, take care.
