Pashili Copperbeard reflects on the Spring Festival

Pashili Copperbeard, champion of the blue mountains, here. I am currently relaxing in Thorins Hall. Relaxing? Nay recovering more like. Recovering from the stress and strains of the spring festival. However much entertainment it provided me with (in particular, pie eating and drinking with the ale association), there was one blight on my otherwise enjoyable experience. In one word, no, name…… Mudric! Aaaargh that pesky hobbit caused me many hours of cursing. I would go as far as to say that he cost me over 40 Hobbit tokens. Many a long night I sat there urging him on to finally win. And yes, on occasion I was known to slap and poke him, but to little effect. There was however a great moment of satisfaction when he finally completed the hobbit race first, and never have I felt so welcomely rewarded as I was with my lucky duck title. Hmmm, maybe more persistant than lucky!

Anyway….. bring on the fall festival. But with a little less Mudric please!

About The Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society

The Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society is a small kin located on the Gilrain server of Lord of the Rings Online. It was formed by guardian dwarf Pashrin Skullcrusher, in dedication to both the deceased petty dwarf Mim, and those dwarves of Thorin's company that narrowly avoided becoming a troll's supper. Although a small kin, it's members are busy questing and crafting, whether helping out the company of the one ring, or brewing up a state of the art cup of tea. And you don't have to be a dwarf to join in their adventures.......
