Mae Govannen. I am Pashadan of the Lindon elves, lore master and member of the Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society. At present I would pride myself on being the most active member of the society, alongside my adopted father of the man-kind Hesgarlaf Bard. Together we have battled the mighty hordes of Dol Guldor, but have of late settled for quieter realms, to reflect upon deeds that we should have previously have achieved.
Like all of the first born race however, I like a tale. This week Hesgarlaf and myself have achieved two quests of particular note, during a time of much questing.
Firstly, conscious that our homes were light on trophys of real worth, we ventured to Garth Argwen in the Lone Lands and did battle with the mighty Ivar the Bloodhand. Oh how swift was that mighty enemy vanquished, with the power and strength that we have now achieved. But he makes a useful banner in the living room!
Secondly, whilst strolling back to Ost Galadh in Mirkwood last Friday to inform fellow elves of our small feats in the forest of Mirkwood, we stumbled quite accidentally on an attack on the fortress by an almighty legion of trolls. For moments we stood in wonder at their devilry, before pitting our wits against the enemy for the cause of the free people. Apparently it was declared a summer of dread by the troll kind, but they soon met their match as the free peoples won the day.
I feel the need for a song, but maybe at this time I will just reflect. Possibly Pashkoi the ministrel will be in a better position to capture our exploits in verse.
Until another day, I bid thee farewell fair warriors of the free peoples.
